Windows Version - 32bit or 64bit?

When downloading the newest version of AVG you must know what version of Microsoft Windows you have; 32bit or 64bit. Click on your Operating System below for help figuring out if you have a 32bit or 64bit Windows Operation System installed:

Windows 7 and Windows Vista

Windows XP

Older/Other Operating Systems

If try to install the wrong version (i.e. 64bit AVG on Windows XP 32bit), you will get the following error:
