For reference our starter new system is currently a AMD 64bit Sempron LE 1100+ running at 1.9 GHz. It comes with 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and a DVDRW. You also get a choice between Windows XP or Vista, although we don’t recommend the latter. All for only $449! Also you can pick up a 17 inch LCD monitor for $190.
